Waiting for the Sunshine

Most people love the sunshine of the summer rather than the harsh cold weather that is ahead of them. They look forward to the end of the winter and hope that it is as quick as possible, like ripping off a band aid. Especially as the days get shorter, the sun’s time in the sky is less and less, creating a lingering shadow as we cast ourselves deep into the winter months. And then we wait for the better months ahead, and they are few.

Waiting for a better tomorrow seems, and better sunshine to occur.

What you might want is already there, it will just be a bit harder to do.

Going outside into the cold winter days, for a hike, run, skiing, skating or spending extensive time outside. All of it will be more difficult than the summertime. But so is the heat of the summer sun and you’ll be wishing for a cooler day instead. There might be some perfect moments out there on those dark winter days that you must find.

A perfect moment waiting to be taken.

The present is like no other and waits for nobody. And regret is the only thing that follows the past with a haze.

Do or do not, but waiting for the perfect time is never the answer. The most perfect time to do anything is now, no matter how busy you may seem, anything else that may happen to be an obstacle.

You have to use the obstacle as a hurdle to get where you want, it only propels you further like a springboard. By the time you know it you’re miles ahead of schedule by starting today.

Speaking of spring it is just around the corner coming much faster than you think, the winter can prepare you or you can wait for it happen. If you wait, you’ll hibernate straightforward to summer.

You might say that’s not so bad, skipping the hard stuff, I’ll tell you one thing, watch the movie “click”, it’s a perfect example of skipping the small stuff and your life wastes away.

Stop waiting for the sunshine and the most perfect day is today.
