More often than not, we all consider the why behind the state of the environment. This leads to deep thought and considerations on why anything is the way it is. A person to blame, a generation, a pollical party, maybe just anyone besides yourself. It could be quite convenient to blame anything else to why it is so messed up. But the why is often not needed for the current moment of action and stops it from happening.
SO WHY ASK THE WHY?
To waste valuable time and energy. To think you’re making progress somehow by explaining the complexities of the world first before making a decision.
If you forget the why behind the overarching principals of the whole world for a moment. It just makes everything a lot simpler. I’m not saying to not think about it, but just not for everything.
Start with forgetting it in the morning, making some breakfast that you never have time for, put on the radio with some Christmas music way too early in the season. Get yourself all put together and just do stuff that doesn’t require watching the news or looking at your phone first thing. Ultimately neither impact your wonderful breakfast, unless you let it in the door.
There are a lot of confirmations that things are the hardest they have been, like housing, food costs, education cost, gas prices, potential wars but it’s not in your control. Not really in the slightest, so don’t guilt yourself into paralysis of doing nothing at all.
Everyone’s situations are completely different, even in the hardest of times, it teaches. It’s harder to look for good deals but it’s there, you now have a great eye for these things. Harder to find “good” employment, whatever that means since it’s completely subjective. There is opportunity out there, you just have to take it or make it. You will learn one of the skills.
I personally won’t be asking to why before starting my day because I’ll just sit there and think all day. Too many unanswered questions and no real solutions.
Acceptance and taking decisive wise action where it can be taken is the way.
