Judgement Everywhere

Opinions are made and judgement is final. Except that isn’t quite true, they aren’t ever final. They are ever changing in one direction to another with more information, perspectives, humility and acceptance of opposing sides. What is said from the mouth of one could be their judgement in that moment, later they may be on the opposite side of the fence.

Opinions are created from a series of events including experiences, vicarious experiences, primary and secondary information collected.

Meaning opinions do change over time, like a wave on the ocean. Pulls towards the shore and away. Creating bit of swishy washy motion in understanding a topic and how new information can make a huge difference on their current opinions.

Social media creates little spins on the breadcrumbs of information in stories and news. It can stir the pot and create great division. The division is prominent, through outlandish comments, people arguing on who’s opinion is best and judgement is seen everywhere.

Who is the best, who is right?

Does it matter?

Maybe it does, or maybe it doesn’t at all. That totally up to you to decide, is it worth my time and energy, should I be angry, upset and fighting for change to them? Is it a joke, just saying something out there to get attention? You might never know the true reasons. But, that one comment leads to a cascade of other people being riled up by this judgement.

You know not the reason behind the comment, and judgement given out.

The control you do have is in the reaction.

Let it take energy, leave it be, ignore, research, discover their perspective, leave a comment of your own and become absorbed in it all.

It’s all up there for more people to read, somewhat permanently. They can and will make their own judgements and opinions on the infromation given.

Either against you or for you.

Again, does it matter?

Should it prevent who you are in the moment?

Absolutely NOT!

None of it matters, just matters that you are accepting to be wrong. Change like wave, there are times to pull and push. State what you think, learn, research, write and repeat.

The way is to not fear obstacles but use them to get better for tomorrow.

Judgement may be everywhere, but it shouldn’t have you stepping without confidence.
